Description of a person

I describe one boy. He is a Xavi.

My best friend's name is Xavi. He is seventeen but this year he will be eighteen years old.He live in Castelló d'Empúries and he studying second batxillerat and we are going to same class.
He's got pale white skin, short brown hair and him eyes are brown colour. He is a low person and slim.
He's funny person because he always goes to the parties at the weekends. But also he is a very nervous person about the exams.
He likes a lot ad he follow all the matches of Barcelona, also he plays football with Esplais in Castelló d'Empuries, and he plays very well. Xavi's dream is to play important team. Her favourite singer is David Guetta, he always listen to the house music.
Xavi is always a very thoughtful friend and you can trust him. In conclusion Xavi is a good friend.

My Oral Presentation

I think my presentation was bad, I was not very prepared, because this weekend had many exams. Also I was very nervous but after some time I was not so nervous.
But I think the structure of my work was good, although I do not speak very well.
The video is not there because they could send me, but I do comment on my oral presentation.

All Star Phoenix

Last weekend was the All Star Weekend. In Phoenixthis weekend the NBA league players did a show. On friday the rookies played against sophomores that means first year players against the second year players. On Saturday there was the slam dunk contest, the three point shootout and the skills challenge. On the last night, Sunday, the best players of NBA played the All Star match between west and east players.

This year the winners of all the competitions were Derrick Rose, the base of Chicago Bulls, in the skills challenge. Nate Robinson also the base but of New York Nicks won the slam dunk contest and Daequan Cook of Miami Heat won the three point shootout.

In the match between rookies and sophomores the winners were as always with Kevin Duran as MVP with more than 40 points. And in the best match west team players won, where there was Pau Gasol, with Kobe Bryant of Lakers team and Shaquille O’Neil of Phoenix Suns team as MVP.

Driver caught in Olot, driving at 138km/h on a road limited to 50 km / h. On 26 February Olot the Police Force reported the crime of a driver travelling at 138 mphoina road limited to 50km/h which is more than double. This driver was caught by police when he went full speed on GI-524 8:30 am in Olot.

In my opinion it was good that the police reported this crime, Because if they hadn't the road would be very dangerous and everyone would go very fast. This helps me to learn that going fast is not good and that if you drive a car you should be careful.

Hi everybody, today I want to talk about the day that I spent in the University of Barcelona. It was very useful to think about what I want to do, what things I like best, what I can study in the future. Furthermore, I could meet very nice people who study in this University and they helped me a lot with my doubts.

I went to expositions about ADE and public relations. The first exposition I went with Douaa, because we were very interest in there studies. You interested can choose to do in English or Catalan. These studies are four years, and after you can do a master. In the second exposition I went to public relations with the girls (Antonela, Helena, Julia, Stefi...), in this expositions there were many people, but it was very interesting and spectacular, because the teacher showed us the classes, the studio, the radio...

In this University, I was surprised by the large number of students and services there are. (buses, bars, restaurants, car parks...).

In conclusion, at this moment I don’t know what I want to do in the future, but I know that I want to do something related to Economy or ADE in Girona or Barcelona.

Carnival is here!

Carnival is an important party which is celebrated in a lot of places around the world like Spain Argentina, Brazil... .This year we are dressing up as gangsters, but our idea was to dress ourselves as sailors but we found out that there were other people who were dressing the same; we had to change our costume. The men's costume is ridiculous because we are very fat in the dress, but the girl's dress is very beautiful.

In spite of all this, today we are going to the Carnival of Roses and Sant Pere Pescador tomorrow and next week in Castelló although the weather may not be good enough.

There are about 25 teenagers in our group, more or less like last year. It isn't a very big group compared to ather groups and we haven't got a float, but we are the best!

Protegidos

Today I want to talk about a series in Antena 3, this series is Los Protegidos and it’s a story of boys and girls who have special power and they can use it for doing good or bad things. Some of these boys and girls live in a house with two adults but they aren’t their parents. The woman lost her daughter and she try to find her by living with this guy. There are four teenagers, two children and the “parents”.

When I saw the first episode I thought that they looked like X-man, but it’s different because it is a Spanish series and I am proud of it. The little boys do it very well because they are so young but they do it perfectly. I like the teenagers too, but absolutely, I prefer the girl because… Well, I don’t have good arguments for say why I like the girl more.

I like Los Protegidos because they have a lot of curiosities and mysteries. So, you can know what is going to happen in the next episode.

David Barrufet enters the legend

Goalkeeper handball receives the homage of the crowd at the Palau Blaugrana

The Palau Blaugrana has honored this Sunday afternoon David Barrufet, goalkeeper of the handball section last season who said goodbye to a career of 26 years at the club, 21 of which were with the first team and 11 as captain and accumulated 71 titles becoming a reference for handball in the world.

The homage was led by his yellow jersey, with the presence of veterans and current players, the captains of the other sections of the club (Carles Puyol, Roger Grimau ...) and family. He also remembered his younger brother James who died long ago of a disease.

In my opinion this homage was be very emotional and spectacular, because fans love David Barrufet. I think this goalkeeper was one of biggest in the history of handball, because of his way of being sure or his ability to stop balls.
