The Palau Blaugrana has honored this Sunday afternoon David Barrufet, goalkeeper of the handball section last season who said goodbye to a career of 26 years at the club, 21 of which were with the first team and 11 as captain and accumulated 71 titles becoming a reference for handball in the world.

The Palau Blaugrana has honored this Sunday afternoon David Barrufet, goalkeeper of the handball section last season who said goodbye to a career of 26 years at the club, 21 of which were with the first team and 11 as captain and accumulated 71 titles becoming a reference for handball in the world.
The homage was led by his yellow jersey, with the presence of veterans and current players, the captains of the other sections of the club (Carles Puyol, Roger Grimau ...) and family. He also remembered his younger b
rother James who died long ago of a disease.
In my opinion this homage was be very emotional and spectacular, because fans love David Barrufet. I think this goalkeeper was one of biggest in the history of handball, because of his way of being sure or his ability to stop balls.
